The black cartridge is certainly compatible with this printer as it had been good working with it so far. There is no problem with color printing and the problem started only today. I also tried to put in a new black ink cartridge, but it wouldn't print black to help anyone. I checked the cartridge to see if she had missed and the printer was not to tell me, but she didn't.
